Not only does HipSwap let you discover what's inside the most fabulous closets, homes and shops from the comfort of your home or office, but HipSwap will pick up and deliver any item that you can wear or comfortably hold in your hands for an introductory price of just $5 (paid by the buyer).

Who pays for the delivery?

The buyer pays for delivery when they purchase the item.

Do I have to use your delivery service?

No! You can still sell on HipSwap if you're outside of the delivery area - or if you don't want to use the delivery service. When you post an item, please specify if you are willing to do one or more of the following:

• Meet up with the buyer
• Ship your item to the buyer
• Use HipSwap delivery (if you're in our delivery area, above)

How does shipping work?

If you choose to offer shipping, enter a shipping cost when you list your item for sale. Enter how much it will cost you to ship the item using your preferred shipping provider. For example, USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Also include the cost of packaging materials, if applicable. If it's a large item, you can also enter a cost for a cargo service like Greyhound PackageXpress.

Will you pick up items as well as deliver them?

Yes! When a buyer purchases your item, you will get an email letting you know that you need to schedule a pick-up time. Choose three or more times that work for you from the list, and the HipSwap van will pick up your item during that time, once we match that time with the buyer's availability.

What about large items?

We currently cannot deliver items that would require several people to move, such as pianos, sofas and refrigerators. However, we are investigating a higher delivery fee for items of this size. Stay tuned to this page for more details.

Do you pick up and deliver in __________?

Currently our pick up and delivery service is only available in Los Angeles, CA. You can find a map of our delivery coverage area at the top of this page. If you live in a city other than Los Angeles, you can still use HipSwap! When you list an item for sale you will have the option to specify a shipping cost, and whether or not you're willing to meet up with a buyer locally. We will be adding delivery in other cities soon, and will update our website as we do.

If I live outside your delivery area, can I meet you somewhere inside the delivery area?

Yes! When you list your item, just specify a zip code that is inside our delivery area so we know the item is eligible for delivery. When your item sells and you go to schedule pickup, give us a pickup address where you'd like our van to meet you.
